1st Birthday Session

Package Pricing

Birthday sessions are for Baby’s 1st Birthday. The session is at my studio in Sunninghill and lasts around 2 hours depending on how comfortable and settled your little one is in front of the camera. We also offer Birthday sessions for older toddlers which will entail the same guidelines as our 1st Birthday sessions.

If we are doing a cake smash session. Parents to supply the cake and you would have sent us and image of the cake colours before the photo session date. Upon your arrival we would have the balloons ready and matching the cake colours. We’ll show you the options we have to the number 1 for your setup as well as some extra party decor we have added. We also offer a “Splash” segment after the “Smash”, this entails us putting baby in a little foam bath and capturing some cute splash moments in time.(Note the foam is hypoallergenic in nature) It’s totally optional, but part of our fun offering.

The Session

If we are doing a portrait session, we will start by selecting outfits for your little one. I have a gorgeous selection of flower crowns (with matching tutus and frilly nappy covers) for little girls and nappy covers with suspender belts, bowties and caps for little boys. We then select the props you would like to use. Props would consist of bowls, crates & baskets, even trains and cars! We then select furs, chunky knits or texture layers to match the outfits selected.

After the session, I load the images onto my computer and you get to select your favourite images, your selection will then be sent off for editing.

Family Photos

Parent, relatives & Sibling/s images with Baby are included in all our packages, Please note that we will not have outfits for older siblings. If Daddy can’t attend the whole session, that’s fine, he can pop in for a short time and I’ll make those images a priority before continuing with the rest of the session. As for outfit colours, we’ll try and make them aesthetically pleasing by using tones that go together, Your options would be either pastels, soft neutral tones, earth tones, black, formal wear or even traditional outfits. Please do not bring any clothing with any large printed logos on, thanks.
